At Priceline.com, where I tried and failed today to find a good deal for NYC for my birthday, I discovered this:
That's right, for your "security question", you can choose share with Priceline.com the password you use on all other websites. (Of course, you shouldn't have one preferred password you're using on all other websites, but that's not the point.) In addition to this being a data theft nightmare waiting to happen, there's also the fact that if you do have one favored password, you're probably going to use it on Priceline too. So if you forget your password... how the hell are you going to answer the security question?
